CENTRO NATIONAL De MICROELECTRONIC
Centro Nacional de Microelectrónica (CNM) is the largest public microelectronics research and development centre in Spain. It belongs to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and is managed by a Board of Trustees. Founded in1985, CNM is at present constituted by three Institutes: Instituto de Microelectrónica de Barcelona, CNM-IMB, Instituto de Microelectrónica de Madrid, CNM-IMM, Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla, CNM-IMSE. Researchers and engineers develop process technologies focused toward microsystems, power devices and systems, chemical transducers, nanotechnologies, biomedical applications, and electronic design of IC and systems.
CENTRO DE iNVESTIGACIONES eNERGETICAS,
mEDIOAMBIENTALES Y tECNOLOGICA
CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energeticas, Mediambientales
y Tecnologicas) as National Research Centre for Energy, Environment and
Technology is involved in the development of scientific and technical
activities for finding solutions for the improvement of the use of
resources and energy generation systems, for the development of
alternative energy sources and for solving the problems of the Spanish
companies regarding energy and its effects on the environment.
Consequently, CIEMAT have facilities, instrumentation and human teams
for covering a huge spectrum of scientific and technological topics.
Human and material resources are distributed in an Internal Structure
composed by several Scientific & Technological Departments and
Administrative Departments. Nevertheless, materials resources can be
considered as centralised resources when adequate.
